Heavy-duty steel grating, also known as heavy-load steel grating, is a special type of steel grating designed specifically for large equipment and docks. It is manufactured from plain carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, or aluminum plates through processes such as grooving, interlocking, welding, and finishing. This type of steel grating not only boasts high strength and corrosion resistance but also requires no maintenance. It also features uniform assembly, lightweight structure, and aesthetically pleasing appearance.

The load-bearing flat steel bars of heavy-duty steel grating are over 65mm wide and 6mm thick, with crossbars typically made of flat steel or 10mm or 12mm diameter reinforcing bars. Compared to ordinary hot-dip galvanized steel grating, heavy-duty steel grating has a significantly higher load-bearing capacity, making it suitable for platforms and docks housing large equipment. Its shape and characteristics are similar to ordinary hot-dip galvanized steel grating, but its weight can reach several hundred kilograms.

Heavy-duty steel grating platforms are characterized by their extremely high load-bearing capacity and impact resistance. For applications requiring superior slip resistance, serrated steel grating platforms are recommended. These provide better friction and are particularly suitable for locations with heavy loads and frequent traffic. The press-lock manufacturing process effectively prevents tilting and instability of the load-bearing flat bars, avoiding deformation.

Heavy-duty steel gratings are not only widely used in industrial sectors but also, due to their aesthetic appeal and practicality, have become the preferred choice for many public and private spaces.
