Standard Carbon Steel Galvanized Grating Weight Calculation Method: Weight per square meter = (N × Flat steel width × Flat steel thickness ÷ 1000 × 7.85 + C) × 1.07
Note: 1. N is the number of flat steel bars, corresponding to 36, 28, and 20 for Series 1, Series 2, and Series 3 respectively.
The unit of measurement for flat steel width and thickness is millimeters. C is the weight of the twisted bar, corresponding to 3.1 and 6.2 for Type A and Type B respectively.
Calculation method for serrated flat steel grating:
Example 1: G325/30/100
Weight per square meter = (36 × 32 × 5 ÷ 1000 × 7.85 + 3.1) × 1.07 = 51.7 (kg)
Example 2: G405/40/50SG
Weight per square meter = (28 × 40 × 5 ÷ 1000 × 7.85 + 6.2) × 1.07 = 53.7 (kg)
