Stainless steel grating is widely used in chemical platforms (acid and alkali resistant), offshore platforms (salt spray resistant), and other applications due to its high strength (load-bearing capacity of 3-5 tons/㎡), corrosion resistance (316L material has chloride ion resistance >2000ppm), and anti-slip properties (serrated surface with a friction coefficient ≥0.6). When selecting grating, pay attention to the following:
1. Material – 316L (molybdenum content 2%-3%) is preferred for coastal/chemical plants; 304 (chromium/nickel content 18%/8%) is generally used in industrial applications.
2. Load Capacity – Vehicle passage requires flat steel thickness of ≥25mm and spacing ≤40mm.
3. Surface Treatment – Hot-dip galvanizing (zinc layer ≥80μm) is suitable for outdoor use; serrated surface treatment improves safety in wet environments.
4. Certification – Complies with GB/T 700-2006 standards to ensure tensile strength ≥375MPa.
